The location was perfect, right in front of the cathedral, which made it easy for us to explore the area during our family visit. Breakfast was absolutely fantastic with a great spread that kept everyone satisfied. The warm atmosphere created by the trainee priests made our stay feel more welcoming, and we loved joining in with their holiday activities.

Just an optimal selection for a passing visit in Salisbury with excellent value for money. The room was classic college dorm style with a sink, which was convenient. Make sure to arrive before the gates close at 11pm.

The shared bathroom was clean, but I found the stairs quite exhausting.

Enjoyed the stay at Sarum College. The location is absolutely perfect, right across from the stunning Salisbury Cathedral. Stepping out the door led directly to beautiful views of the Cathedral grounds. The room was clean and comfortable, fitting our needs nicely. Breakfast exceeded expectations with a great selection of both hot and cold options. the accommodation felt more like a hostel with dated furnishings. The mattress was quite hard, but after requesting a topper, I slept much better. Shared bathroom arrangements weren’t ideal and the window didn’t close properly, but thankfully the weather was mild. Though it has character, the communal spaces are limited, making it feel less like a hotel and more like student accommodation. I appreciated the historical charm, but some modern updates would improve the experience significantly.

Unforgettable Stay with Breathtaking Views!
Our three-night getaway with views of the stunning cathedral was a highlight. The staff went above and beyond, assisting us with directions and ensuring a pleasant breakfast experience. Be mindful of low beams in the attic rooms! Definitely opt for a room with a private bathroom for added comfort.

Perfect for solo tranquilers
So, I stayed in a Single Room Private Bathroom, right across from the Cathedral, and honestly, it was like finding a hidden gem. The young lady at the front desk waited for me despite my late arrival, which made me feel genuinely welcomed. And the breakfast? Let’s just say, it was one of the best I’ve ever had, exceeded all my expectations with a fantastic spread!
It was a bit pricey, but honestly, worth every penny.

Sarum College's location is a gem, right across from Salisbury Cathedral, making it a must for history buffs. The breakfast was a solid feast with hearty choices, and the local spots like The Refectory and Cosy Club are fab for dinner afterward. Plus, being able to stroll through the Close is downright magical!
Wasn't chuffed to discover I was booked into a hostel, not a hotel—an unfortunate surprise! The shared bathroom situation was less than ideal, and some of the staff seemed a tad indifferent, which definitely took the shine off my stay.
