The mattress was quite hard, but after requesting a topper, I slept much better. Shared bathroom arrangements weren’t ideal and the window didn’t close properly, but thankfully the weather was mild. Though it has character, the communal spaces are limited, making it feel less like a hotel and more like student accommodation. I appreciated the historical charm, but some modern updates would improve the experience significantly.

Plus, being able to stroll through the Close is downright magical!

Wasn't chuffed to discover I was booked into a hostel, not a hotel—an unfortunate surprise! The shared bathroom situation was less than ideal, and some of the staff seemed a tad indifferent, which definitely took the shine off my stay.
